“I have found a light in what I do…is there something you wanna kill me for? And If I tell you what to do will you be angry at my shoe?”
Let me get lost in order to find myself again … leave me alone and let me go my way… even though, cold, weird, antisocial, on the edge of my own madness …, but at least I’M PERSONAL.

DUET WITH SLAVOJ ZIZEK
Duet with Slavoj Zizek was created for my Master end exam
of Jazz piano in Amsterdam. The piano was performed live, simultaneously with the video. I have chosen Slavoj Zizek's speech not only because of it's rythmic and melodic structure in Zizek's voice but I also found the content of speech extremly interesting. Piano is not only imitating his words, but also creating the mood and expresion for what he is talking about.
“After my concert at Tritone Bar in Philadelphia an unknown stranger approaches me and tells me: Hey man your music sounds wonderful we should record it…who are you? I ask him... Jim… my name is Jim. I have a studio in my basement… Really??... Let’s do it!!"
With: Chris Aschman (trumpet, steel drums), Anwar Marhall (drums), Enric Peinado (guitar), Chris Coyle(bass), John Swana (ewi), Jim Hamilton (production)
